L.A. Green is seeking a content creator to support our marketing initiatives. The content creator will be responsible for developing compelling content for social media, email, print materials, and various digital platforms. To do so, they will learn about and utilize L.A. Green’s branding guide to efficiently maximize the impact of the content they generate. The ideal candidate will have a creative eye and the ability to stay up-to-date on the ever-changing social media landscape.

 

Objectives of This Role

  • Support L.A. Green’s marketing and branding presence across all channels
  • Maximize customer engagement with marketing content
  • Deliver cohesive and high-quality marketing content that is consistently on-brand
  • Improve L.A. Green’s search engine optimization (SEO) presence
  • Widen L.A. Green’s marketing reach

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan and create static/ video content for various social media platforms
  • Aid with the visual design of promotional materials
  • Schedule and coordinate photoshoots and content creation
  • Monitor digital engagement metrics
  • Use SEO best practices to drive traffic to L.A. Green's digital channels
  • Remain up-to-date on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Content creation, paid social media, and video production skills
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Ability to write compelling and attention-capturing social copy
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • High degree of computer literacy
  • Ability to work effectively without oversight

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating high-quality marketing content
  • Working knowledge of email marketing and creation of HTML-based email content
  • In-depth knowledge of Canva and photo/ video editing platforms
  • Comprehensive understanding of impactful marketing tactics
  • Capable of managing multiple competing priorities
